Stephen G. Dent is a Harvard graduate who holds both a BA and MBA from the university. In addition to being a licensed CPA, he is also the president of his own investment banking firm, Dent Inc., located in Greenwich CT. In addition to his duties as president, Stephen manages all of the company’s financial and investment activity.

Before starting his own company, Stephen’s career in finance included involvement in numerous finance and investment activities for some of the country’s highest-profile companies, and since 1982, Stephen’s focus has been exclusively in the areas of finance, investments and acquisitions.

Stephen’s career got jump-started when he took a job working for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked for three years before joining Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. to work in their Mergers and Acquisitions Department. After several years with Morgan Stanley, Stephen started working for the private investment partnership, Rosenkranz & Company, where his primary function was to manage the acquisitions for the company’s own account. He left in 1986 to form Dent Inc.

Although he devotes considerable time to his work, he does find time to indulge his boyhood hobby of the study of marine life.
